BACKGROUND
At the age of 16, Katharina Hermes founded her first own design and production company, producing transformable and customisable handbags and selling them in New York. Over the next 20 years, she worked backstage at Milan Fashion Weeks, in London on the design team for Lee Alexander McQueen's prêt-à-porter collections, in production management at Mulberry and as the designer of GG&L George Gina & Lucy and Bogner handbags.
